A new mix! I finally made some time to mix up some new tracks. Lately i’ve been far to busy with my internship and writing my thesis, so I didn’t have the time to spin some tracks. But today I dediced the put of the work for my thesis a bit and mix my newest tracks! In this new mix you will find new tracks of John O’Callaghan, Arnej, Tritonal and even Mistress Barbara! A very cool, musical, synthesizer thingy.

Simple sinewave synthesizer triggered by an ordinary 16step sequencer. Each triggered step causes a force on the underlaying wave-map, which makes it more cute.

Based on the AudioTool engine thus no sources, I am sorry.

I mixed up some more up-tempo tracks this time. Only half an hour (just the time I need when I go out for a run ). So enjoy this highly energetic mix with some real dancefloor destroyers and the new Oceanlab!

The arrival of spring and the sun was my inspiration during this mix. I started off with some dark, deep tracks which mark the last days of the chill of winter. Then I mixed in some more uplifting, happier sounding tracks and at the end I went a little deeper again because the winter in Holland is still trying to crawl it’s way back through the sunlight..)

Get ready for some hot new tunes in a brand new set of DJ Sidion, ending with one of the biggest tracks of last year (which is also one of my favorites!). A spent an afternoon playing around with Ableton Live and below you can find the result. I think it can be called an ambient kind of track (although it’s only 1.07 minutes long, so maybe it’s called a snippet or something..). Anyway, i used some spacy kind of sounds which i think sound ok. Maybe i’ll make a real track out of this or maybe not. We’ll see

Almost weekend. Maybe i’ll find some time to play around with Ableton Live and try out my production *ahum* skills..

Because of my internship at the VARA – HumorTV (which is a digital theme channel, where i’m working for the new media section) I don’t have a lot of time to check out new tracks, so i’v you have any suggestions for killer tracks, post them in the comments!
