Last week I won the first round of the TWSTd DJ Contest preliminaries and today I have to contest in the second round of preliminaries. If I win this I will go on to the month-finale! Yesterday I did a set to practice for this evening and I recorded the results. The set starts of slow and deep and builds up to an energetic climax! So download, enjoy and ‘gooi je haar los!’
A while ago I sent in a demo to the dutch DJ contest of TWSTd DJ Café. A couple of days ago I got a telephone from someone of TWSTd that they liked my demo and wanted me to compete in the preliminairy rounds of the contest. Ofcourse my answer was ‘YES!’. So Sunday 6th of september you can see me in action at the TWSTd DJ Café in Amsterdam (Weteringschans 157).

Coming saturday I will be attending one of the most awesome dutch festival’s called, Mysteryland! (as a guest, not as a DJ alas..). So for this occasion, and to have something to listen to on my iPod when i’m travelling to the festival, i mixed up some tracks. Started out with some progressive stuff, going into some oriental and tribal tracks, then into some up-tempo housy tracks and ending with tech-house and techno. Unfortunately my laptop’s battery went empty just when I was finishing my set so I had to fade out the end.

Normally I mix trance and progressive tracks but today I decided to try out some different genres. So I browsed and collected some new tracks on Beatport and fired up my cd-players! The result is a mix which starts of a bit minimal and goes into some house, tech-house and techno-sounding tracks. So give it a listen and tell me what you think
