So you were looking for some more information about me? Well, let’s start with my name. DJ Sidion is Roeland van der Vliet, born and raised in Gorinchem (a small town, not to be confused with a village, in The Netherlands) on the 28th of march in 1983. I started to get interested in DJ’ing in 2002. That was also the year when I started visiting dance-events. Coincidence? I think not!
After saving up some money I bougth a simple mixer and two turntables (and ofcourse a bunch of records), hooked it all up to my computer and started practicing. At first my favored styles were trance and progressive but after playing those kind of records for a couple of years I decided it was time for a change. Now I play more tech-house and techno with the occasional progressive track. During my years I played at some DJ-contests and some small parties and I regularly record sets at home (which you can download on this site).
